The Scotsman has one of these innovative desks to give away, thanks to a Scottish family firm.

The Buzz Hive School in a Box is the brainchild of designers at the James Donaldson Group’s new brand, Buzz Home Office. Just like its slightly larger Office in a Box for home workers, the School in a Box provides dedicated space for all home learning, which can be shut away at the end of the day, leaving a stylish piece of furniture in its place.

The Buzz Hive School in a Box is perfect for busy bees, whether they want a quiet space for homework all year round or need their own dedicated space for online learning. Fully customisable at no extra cost (there are over 1,000 colour combinations to make it as unique as you like), this personalised space is packed full of potential – just like your young learner.

With built-in storage, it keeps everything in the one place, and best of all, at the end of the school day you close the doors and your classroom becomes home once more. No more messy desks, this is the home studying system you’ve been waiting for.

Due to current Covid operating conditions the prize can only be delivered in Scotland.

Andrew Donaldson, CEO of The James Donaldson Group, said: “Innovation has always been central to the JDS vision and we are delighted to announce the launch of the exciting new brand, Buzz Home Office. Everyone has faced unprecedented challenges over the last year and as a team we were eager to create products that would support the new normal and flexible ways of working. We always put customers, service and quality at the core of everything we do, and I believe Buzz Home Office will reflect this in market.”

And if you are not lucky enough to win, you can order your own School in a Box or design your own dream home office here.
