Yell unveils Richard Hanscott as new UK chief

YELLOW Pages owner Yell has appointed Richard Hanscott as chief executive of its UK business as it prepares to launch a new digital strategy to return it to growth.

Hanscott, who used to work at Orange and technology firm NEC, will take up his position on 18 July and will report to group chief executive Mike Pocock. Hanscott's earlier career was spent at Hewlett-Packard.
