Xodus wins £1.3m Catcher contract from Premier Oil

Xodus Group, the Aberdeen-based energy consultancy, has won a £1.3 million contract from Premier Oil to work on the massive Catcher project.

The company will work on an underwater front-end engineering design study, adding to the £11m of design contracts the firm has won in the past four years.

Andrew Wylie, senior consultant at Xodus Group, said: “Xodus is proud to be involved in the Catcher project, which is a significant development in the North Sea.”

Xodus said that Catcher, which lies in the Central North Sea, is “potentially one of the larger North Sea discoveries in recent years”.
