Wood seals £26m Australian contract

ENERGY services giant Wood Group yesterday revealed that its Australian business had won a A$40 million (£26m) engineering contract for a gas pipeline in Queensland.

The development, which will turn coal seam gas into liquefied natural gas, is being run by a consortium including oil giants Petronas and Total, and specialist gas firms Santos and Kogas. Some 40 Wood Group staff will work on the scheme.
