Wood completes £1.7m Texas work

Wood Group has completed a $2.7 million (£1.7m) contract to supply “critical” parts for a gas turbine unit in Texas.

The Aberdeen-based firm, which undertook the work through its Wood Group GTS arm, said it had established a “market-leading position” supplying alternative parts for GE turbines. The deal was with Formosa Plastics, a producer of plastic resins and chemicals.
