US healthcare group moves into Scotland

Global healthcare information provider KnowledgePoint360 is opening its first Scottish office, saying it wants to tap into the wealth of scientific expertise available north of the Border.

The New Jersey firm, which employs 700 staff worldwide, plans to build a team of medical writers and project managers at its new office in central Glasgow.

The group says the move is part of “a long-term commitment to become a leading player in the Scottish medical communications community”.

Chief executive Jon Bigelow said: “We know there is a strong talent pool in Scotland and want to take advantage of this by establishing a permanent Scottish base as part of our continued growth strategy.”
