Turnover rises at Ledingham
Profits at the practice – which has offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Inverness – dropped to £3.5m from £3.8m after “staff” investment pushed costs up by £900,000 year-on-year to £7.1m, which included promoting staff to partner status within its commercial property and litigation departments.
Chairwoman Jennifer Young said: “This was a year of milestones for us. Not only did we build on last year’s record turnover, but by August, have welcomed six partners into the firm, oversaw major transactions and enjoyed a strategic coup with the appointment of Jim Drysdale to our agricultural team.”
