Treat Ticket debuts on UK mainland

THE craze for "deals" websites will continue today when Scottish entrepreneur Alex McNutt brings his Treat Ticket business to Glasgow.

Belfast-based Treat Ticket - which offers discounts on a range of activities including golf games, spa sessions and hotel rooms - aims to add 16 cities to its website within 14 months.

McNutt, a former chief executive of Anglian Windows and president for ADT Fire and Security for Europe, said: "We have been out in the streets introducing the concept and finding out what the people of Glasgow like, treat-wise. We are in this for the long haul and see real potential for growth throughout the UK."
