Tourism star wins top accolade in Scottish marketing awards

HELEN Campbell, who led the team behind VisitScotland’s latest tourism campaign, was last night named marketing star of the year.

Campbell, head of marketing UK and Ireland, leads a team of 25 marketers responsible for making Scotland a “must visit, must return” destination.

She picked up the prize in the Marketing Society Scotland 2012 awards, supported by The Scotsman and presented last night at a ceremony and dinner attended by 450 people from the industry and their guests at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
