Thinktastic looks to Disney magic

CREATIVE agency Thinktastic has enlisted senior figures from the Disney Institute to sprinkle some of its magic on Scottish business practices.

In partnership with Quest for Excellence, the Edinburgh agency is hosting a seminar in the city next month for Disney to showcase the methods and techniques it uses to transform ways of working.

Mike Stevenson, of Thinktastic, said: “The creativity we see in Disney films and products is borne out of very clever thinking that gets people to see the world in a completely different light. What Thinktastic and Quest for Excellence are saying is – how do we get that creativity into Scottish business and public life?”

Scottish managers have already experienced the Disney Institute’s training in Florida, including Jennifer Ganson, HR manager at Glasgow hotel Blythswood Square, but the event at Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh is seen as a rare opportunity to attend a programme in Scotland.

The Disney Institute has guided a number of Fortune 500 companies.
