Speirs taking the Rics Scotland helm

ONE of Scotland’s biggest trade bodies for the property sector has appointed a new director.

Sarah Speirs is taking on the role as head of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ (Rics) Scottish operations after a spell in charge of the organisation’s UK members communications department in London.

Speirs was previously deputy director of Rics Scotland and currently represents the body with the Scottish Council for Development & Industry. She said: “I’m very much looking forward to again working with members in Scotland.”
