Simone Lockhart ensures Search is completed for Scottish boss

Recruitment firm Search Consultancy has created the new post of Scottish managing director and Simone Lockhart is the person grabbing the reins.

Her appointment comes as the firm sets its sights on growth of more than 20 per cent in the next year, fuelled by an uplift in business across many of its specialist divisions.

Based in Search's Glasgow base, Lockhart will lead a Scottish team numbering more than 130.

She says: "We've ambitious plans to expand the business and my priority is to ensure we're in the best shape to take forward these plans in 2011."

Tullis Russell, the Fife-based papermaking and specialist coating group, has appointed Tim Bowdler as non-executive director.

Chairman Fred Bowden say: "We are delighted to welcome Tim who brings significant experience to the board having spent the last 14 years of his career as managing director and then chief executive of Johnston Press. He is currently a non-executive of Miller Group."
