SCOTTISH business needs to embrace globalisation, the chairman of CBI Scotland told the organisation’s annual dinner last night. Nosheena Mobarik said businesses north of the Border must boost their exports performance and find new foreign markets and partners to be a “real force for good” in an “interconnected world”. Oil firm Valiant’s ‘strategic review’ could see sale or merger

NORTH Sea-focused oil firm Valiant Petroleum put itself on the market yesterday, announcing a surprise strategic review that could also see it expand its portfolio. Britvic-Barr merger ‘unlikely to be trumped by rival bidder’
