Scots firms in awards final

An INVERURIE hairdresser and a Glasgow car leasing company are among the Scottish firms shortlisted for this year’s National Business Awards, supported by The Scotsman.

Elan’s hair salon has reached the final of the ICAEW Sustainability Award for the second year running.

Glasgow-based firms are also named among the 150 finalists, including Fleet Alliance, promotions group SpaceandPeople, and the Glasgow Credit Union.

All will now make presentations to expert juries who will decide the winners, to be announced at a ceremony on 12 November at the Grosvenor House in London.
