Saudi investor gives Citigroup ultimatum

PRINCE Alwaleed bin Talal, a prominent Saudi investor in Citigroup, yesterday reaffirmed his support for the bank's chief executive, Vikram Pandit.

But the billionaire royal said Pandit must deliver in 2010, which he described as a make-or-break year. Alwaleed formerly complained about Pandit's predecessor Chuck Prince, who stepped down in 2007.
