Richmond joins board of Frontier IP

FRONTIER IP, the Edinburgh-based investment firm that helps universities to commercialise their research, has drafted in Dundee University court member Andrew Richmond as a non-executive director.

Richmond, who is also a non-executive director of the NHS Tayside health board, replaces Singer Capital Markets chief executive Tim Cockroft. He had to step down under stock market rules because Sigma Capital, Frontier IP’s former parent company and still a major shareholder, recently chose Singer as its house broker.
