£7m boost for Stewart Milne

STEWART Milne Construction has won contracts totalling £7 million to build a new headquarters for Moray Council in Elgin and refurbish a building for the University of Abertay to provide office and lecture space.

Bill Imlach, the firm's managing director, said the deals gave it "a solid pipeline of development work into next year".

He added: "In the current highly competitive climate, our team is delighted to have secured two such prestigious projects."

Preparatory work is under way on both contracts.
