Progress for Dundee waterfront initiative
The £1 billion masterplan to regenerate Dundee's waterfront has taken a step forward with the appointment of a preferred development partner for part of the project.
The council has selected Our Enterprise, which operates a “social legacy” company model, for a £20 million investment, relating to the creation of a city square around the forthcoming V&A museum, with a new design and innovation quarter.
Plans will now be pushed forward, “creating a vibrant, dynamic development to match the city’s vision for the waterfront”.
Our Enterprise founder and chief executive Matthew Bell said the firm was delighted to bring its “investment, energy and drive to this groundbreaking project”.
