People: Print firm donates £17,000 to cancer charities

STAFF at Aberdeen-based North East Reprographics have donated more than £17,000 to two cancer charities following a year of fundraising efforts.

Staff at the company, which supplies printers and copiers, chose to raise funds for Clan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Research as some in the team had been affected by the disease.

They organised several events to reach their total, including a dinner dance with about 200 guests.

NER team manager Marino Keith said it was “a great way to help a really important cause and have fun at the same time”.
