North Berwick Bathroom Company reports 30 per cent sales increase

A LUXURY bathroom company has benefited from the continued demand for top-end consumer items with a rise in sales of more than 30 per cent.

The North Berwick Bathroom & Tile Company has reported turnover in its last quarter increase to £123,000, up from £95,000 in 2011.

The company said a rebrand earlier this year had prompted the surge in bookings.

Projections for the final quarter to December are for sales to almost double last year’s figure.

Formerly Advanced Ceramics, the company was bought by David and Yvonne Souness in 2008. More than 25 per cent of sales this year are reported to be repeat business from customers.
