National architectural practice lands in Glasgow

Architecture practice Corstorphine & Wright has opened a new Scottish office after agreeing a tie-up with Glasgow-based firm Sasanbell.

Corstorphine & Wright, which is headquartered in Warwick and employs about 100 people, is currently working on a number of projects in Glasgow including a student accommodation development for Student Castle.

It said the new office would “formalise its presence in the city” and build upon the “excellent relationships” that Sasanbell has already established. The latter will now rebrand as Corstorphine & Wright Scotland.

Babak Sasan, one of the founding directors at Sasanbell, said: “This partnership will combine a wealth of skills, both innovative and practical, promoting further growth.”

Co-founder Charles Bell added: “This venture will positively benefit our clients, giving us a greater breadth of experience across different industry sectors, with more diverse resources to call upon.”
