McNeil takes new post at Nucleus

NUCLEUS, the Edinburgh-based financial services IT firm, yesterday appointed John McNeil to the newly-created post of managing director.

McNeil joins from Fife-based eye scanner maker Optos, where he was company secretary. Nucleus was set up in 2006 by David Ferguson and Philip Martin from consultancy firm Abacus. The firm offers “wrap” software that lets independent financial advisors see a client’s investments all in one place.
