Property consultant Savills has appointed industry veteran Simpson Buglass to head up its office in Aberdeen.
Buglass, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the Scottish property market, takes up the role in January. He joins from Graham & Sibbald, where he was a partner within its commercial property team.
A registered valuer, he also sits on the council of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the property network.
Mark Fleming, joint regional business head of Savills Scotland, said: “He brings with him a huge wealth of expertise, experience and considerable local market knowledge.
“Savills has a comprehensive service offering throughout Scotland and we are confident Simpson’s appointment in Aberdeen will provide the platform to help us to continue grow both our client base and offer within the region.”
The former head of Savills’ Aberdeen office, Ewan Berkeley, is returning to his role as head of office in Brechin, where he lives with his family.
