The range of corporate events at Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) has been extended after revenue growth in its latest financial year, catalysed by targeting businesses and significant areas of growth.

Sales by this part of GSC’s activities in the 2015/16 financial period jumped by 17 per cent year on year, marking one of its most successful years for business and corporate events, and its second-highest since opening in 2001.

The corporate events team is led by Judy Rae, who said: “In 2015, we made a strategic decision to work and align GSC with companies and the key economic growth sectors for Glasgow and Scotland to develop our core corporate business.

“By doing this, we were delighted to exceed our ambitious growth targets in the first year,” she said, with GSC noting that on higher demand it has launched “corporate science” products incorporating entertainment and elements of science.
