The £10,000-a-head, invitation-only bash saw 80 guests descend on the stately home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and was held in aid of the East Anglia Children’s Hospice. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, became a patron of the hospice in 2012.

Viv Muir, who founded NB Gin with her husband Steve, said: “This is another proud moment for us. For our gin to be chosen for such an exclusive event really is quite an honour and it’s further evidence of how far the brand has come in a short space of time.

“The last couple of years in particular have been incredible for us and it’s such a wonderful thing to see the brand we created in our kitchen in North Berwick being part of some of the glitziest events in the world.”
