Kreab Gavin Anderson and Liddell Thomson already work informally together in a number of areas but believe the new arrangement helps strengthen their joint operations and cross-border interests.

Ken Cronin, managing partner of Kreab Gavin Anderson’s UK operation, said: “I am very excited to formalise our relationship with the Liddell Thomson Consultancy and look forward to being able to offer clients both in the UK and internationally strategic communications advice from a Scottish perspective.”

Liddell Thomson Consultancy was co-founded by Colin Liddell and Lesley Thomson in 1996 and now includes in-house media relations business Spreng & Co run by Callum Spreng, former head of communications at Scottish Media Group (now STV).

Thomson said: “We are delighted to formalise our relationship with KGA and look forward to capitalising on the international networks and opportunities this will open up to businesses already operating in Scotland as well as supporting those keen to invest here.

“Our team shares KGA’s ambitions to grow the business and to apply our knowledge and expertise with existing and potential clients in Scotland, the UK and further afield.”
