IoD and Lomond Capital move into Charlotte Square

The Institute of Directors in Scotland has signed a lease on office space in the centre of Edinburgh to form a new 'hub' for its members.

The organisation has agreed to let the ground and first floor, comprising 2,951 square feet, at 10 Charlotte Square, part of the Charlotte Square Collection, a managed estate of 21 townhouse properties.

IoD Scotland’s member areas are set to be up and running before the summer and David Watt, the body’s executive director, said: “This move represents the creation of a new focal point for IoD members in Scotland, with state-of-the-art facilities in a prestigious central location.”

Meanwhile, Lomond Capital has pre-let the entire five floors of 32 Charlotte Square, also part of the Charlotte Square Collection, to accommodate its expanding property group.

The site is to be renovated and is set to be ready in September.
