Inverarity Morton said that Jan McSkimming will now cover Glasgow, with Claire McLachlan looking after Edinburgh.

Grey will report to Donald Hodgart, area manager for the West Country.

The company, which has more than 2,000 clients and turns over £50 million a year, was created in 2011 when drinks wholesaler William Morton took over wine merchant Inverarity Vaults.

Bulloch has hired investment bank HSBC to sell one of his other businesses, Loch Lomond Distillery, which makes High Commissioner blended whisky.
