Ian Stevens named as Touch Bionics chief

TOUCH Bionics, the Livingston-based artificial limb maker, has named Ian Stevens as its next chief executive.

Stevens - who was chief executive of medical device maker Mpathy Medical and chief financial officer at eye scanner maker Optos - will succeed Stuart Mead. Chairman Colin McGill said: "We strongly believe Ian is the right person to lead the company through the next phase of its growth."
