Dalgleish, a joint founder of Munro Consulting and Munro Solutions, is joined by Donogh O’Brien, Catriona Mackie and Nigel Fortnum at Aspen.

He said: “Aspen will deliver a partnership service, not merely a recruitment product.

“We will work closely with leading UK organisations to help them fill their most senior positions at executive and non-executive level.”

He said the new firm will build on the directors’ relationship with long-standing clients as well as establishing new customers in its target markets.

The company is on course for a first year turnover of £1 million and aims to double its fee income over the next three years.
