Hall quits SE for university role

HUGH Hall, the chief financial officer of Scottish Enterprise, has been poached by Strathclyde University.

He will take up the post of chief operating officer at the institution in April and form part of a core "executive team".

Professor Jim McDonald, principal of Strathclyde, said: "It is a great pleasure to welcome someone of Hugh's calibre to the University."

A spokeswoman for SE, said: "Hugh has delivered much for SE in the last three years. We wish him all the best in a challenging and exciting new role."
