Global swoops for TCC stake

Global Energy Group, the Inverness-based oil and gas services heavyweight, has bought a majority stake in Ellon-based Training Competency Consultancy (TCC).

All 70 staff from the safety and skills consultancy will transfer to Global, which earlier this month took a controlling stake in Kaymas Electrical Engineering. TCC will continue to be led by managing director and founder James Murphy.
