Funds to create RelayMed jobs

technology startup RelayMed vowed to create 20 jobs after it secured £300,000 in Scottish Government funding to develop its healthcare diagnostic software for GP offices.

The firm, based at the technology incubator TechCube in Edinburgh, raised £200,000 in regional selective assistance grant (RSA) and a further £100,000 Smart:Scotland grant.

The company was founded last year by Florida-based Goodmark Medical and Perth-based life science investment firm Innova Partnerships.

Neil Farish, RelayMed managing director, said: “The funding we have secured has helped us build strong foundations and create an exciting team to start to address the needs of this growing market.”
