Focusrite, founded by former Led Zeppelin soundman Phil Dudderidge, announced the move as it reported a 14 per cent rise in revenues to £41 million for the year to August.

Dudderidge said: “An initial public offering is the next logical step in the group’s growth strategy as we seek to grow our market share further.”
