Flagship office move from Ernst & Young

ERNST & Young, the accountancy practice, is to move to a new office development in Glasgow next year.

It has signed a 15-year lease for more than 20,000sq ft of office space in HF Development's flagship complex in George Square.

The firm will move into the G1 development in May 2011.

Ernst & Young hopes its relocation from its current premises on 50 George Square will provide a powerful springboard for future growth.

Managing partner Hywel Ball said: "Our investment sends out a strong message about our ambitions and commitment."
