John Connolly, interim assistant director of Health Facilities Scotland, said: “Frameworks Scotland 2 builds on the success of the first framework, which has seen 41 completed NHS facilities with a value of £336m delivered to date and a further 16 either on site or in development with a value of £144m.”

Brian McQuade, managing director of Kier in Scotland, added: “We look forward to working with the various boards in improving the patient experience throughout the NHS estate and the geographical spread of the work aligns well with our goal of increasing opportunity for local apprentice training.”
