The takeover of Northern Case, for an undisclosed sum, will provide Scott with “state-of-the-art” facilities and further space to expand the business on a seven-acre site at Ellesmere Port.

Northern Case employs 45 staff, and its new owner said it hopes to increase this over time “as future investment plans are formulated with the local management team”. Founded in 1987, Scott Group now employs more than 1,000 people UK-wide.
