Ex Yahoo exec clicks on new role at ITV

FORMER European Yahoo executive Fru Hazlitt is to join broadcaster ITV to run its TV and online sales business in a move designed to better link the company's various platforms.

Hazlitt, who previously ran the radio group GCap Media and commercial operations for Yahoo in Europe, will take up the newly-created role to develop online sales as the company looks to diversify and develop new revenue streams.

ITV chief executive Adam Crozier said: "Fru's background in general management, her proven commercial skills and online experience make her ideal for this new role."
