Elevator and KPMG join to help up-and-coming firms

A tie-up between social enterprise Elevator and accountancy giant KPMG has been set up to 'help aspirational businesses through the critical phases of growth'.

The two organisations are joining forces in a “key alliance” to share their insight and experience of working with entrepreneurs and provide advice.

Elevator deputy chief executive Graham Morgan said the relationship is the first in what Elevator believes will ultimately be a grouping of world-class organisations set on boosting the Scots economy, and he stressed the entrepreneurs and start-ups it works with on its Accelerator Programme “will benefit hugely”.

Moray Barber, partner at KPMG, said the world of the entrepreneur “can be a lonely place at times and so it is important to have the team at Elevator and KPMG on hand to turn to for support, for constructive challenge when required and for innovative thinking to solve complex business challenges”.
