Director Dealings: Roundup

SURVEILLANCE technology firm Quadnetics recently won a deal to service and maintain security systems at a number of power plants.

The £7 million deal with Magnox covers sites including Berkeley power station in Gloucestershire, which is the first commercial nuclear power station in the UK to be decommissioned.

A fortnight after the announcement, Quadnetics chief executive John Shepherd bought 13,800 shares at 290p each to raise his stake to 440,319 shares.

• David Hempleman-Adams, a non-executive director of power control specialist XP Power, has bought two tranches of shares. In total he bought just under 9,500 shares at around 1,050p.

• Peter Hallett, chief financial officer of technology group Redstone, acquired a million shares at 0.85p per share to take his holding up to 21 million.

• Several directors at construction consultancy Sweett have increased their holdings. Chief executive Dean Webster purchased 25,000 shares, executive director Kim Berry, bought 25,000 shares and chairman Michael Henderson bought 50,000 shares. They each paid between 20p and 22p for the shares.

Sweett’s recent contracts include work on the £90m Titanic Belfast exhibition project.
