Digital entrepreneur gets on board at Stagecoach

Transport giant Stagecoach has appointed digital entrepreneur James Bilefield as a non-executive director.

The Perth-based group said that Bilefield, a former executive at Skype and Yahoo, will join its board at the start of next month.

Having also managed the “digital transformation” of media group Condé Nast across 27 countries, he is now chairman of event ticketing business Ticketscript, an adviser to management consultancy McKinsey & Company and sits on the advisory board to the UK Government Digital Service.
