Deloitte shows off new Glasgow headquarters

Accounting giant Deloitte has launched its new base in Glasgow.

The 18,280 square foot office, at 110 Queen Street, will house 240 staff serving clients across industries including energy, financial services, food and drink, technology and the public sector.

Deloitte UK chairman Nick Owen said: “The firm remains strongly committed to Scotland, and our new office will mean we are in a better position than ever to provide our clients with the best service, while attracting and retaining the best talent.”

Douglas Farish, senior partner at the firm’s Glasgow office, said the move from its previous base on George Square “represents a significant investment in our Scottish operation, and a strong commitment to not only the city, but Scotland as a whole”.

He added: “The new accommodation captures the positive impact Deloitte has on our clients, the places in which we do business and the talent we hire. It further underlines our continued support of the Scottish economy, its talented pool of entrepreneurs and a sustainable future.”

Other occupiers at 110 Queen Street include law firm Brodies and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff, the professional services and engineering consultancy.
