David Laing joins board of SeaEnergy

SEAENERGY, the Aberdeen-based green-energy firm, has appointed the chairman of law practice Ledingham Chalmers as a non-executive director.

David Laing, who has acted as a board adviser for a number of companies in the energy, leisure and property sectors, joins the board of SeaEnergy with immediate effect.

Laing and Ledingham have supported SeaEnergy – formerly Ramco – on a string of projects and transactions for 20-odd years. Laing holds a beneficial interest in 10,000 ordinary shares in SeaEnergy. Steve Remp, chairman of SeaEnergy, said: "David played a key role in our 1990s Caspian success and has been a trusted adviser to both me and the board for many years."
