AN EDINBURGH software firm is looking to tap into the global explosion in online learning and training after securing fresh six-figure funding.
Administrate, which is based in the capital’s CodeBase incubator, will use the £577,000 investment to grow its presence in North America, which accounts for about a quarter of its business. It has also identified longer-term opportunities in developing markets within Africa, Asia and South America.
The latest funding has been provided by Archangels Investors and the Scottish Investment Bank.
Chief executive John Peebles said: “Education is rapidly and fundamentally changing and we’re excited to help position our customers at the forefront of this transformation.”
John Waddell, chief executive of Archangels Investors, said: “It is very satisfying to see the progress made by Administrate since we first invested in 2010.”
