A GLASGOW-based software firm is opening an office in New York to grow its subscription-based “cloud” business worldwide.

Azolve, which also has offices in Harrogate and Bangladesh, will open doors in the “mature” US cloud and mobile-based software services market as it launches an international platform in January, dubbed Azolve 2014.

David Pring, the firm’s chief executive and founder, is set to head up the US operations starting in September.

He said: “Due to the maturity of cloud-based and mobile applications in the US, our aim is to establish Azolve’s worldwide offering of application based solutions, such as our popular Sports Administration System or Activity Based Costing solution.

“This is a really exciting period for Azolve. The Americas offer huge potential growth and a whole new chapter in the history of Azolve.”
