Wellington company Hunter Boot has announced the appointment of Vincent Wauters as its chief executive, effective from next month.
He replaces James Seuss, who stood down at the end of last November.
Wauters joins the Edinburgh-based business from Canadian premium outdoor and lifestyle brand Arc’teryx, where he held the role of president. Before that he worked with Amer Sports Corporation, Newell Rubbermaid and Amazon in France.
He said: “I am honoured to join such an iconic brand. What has been accomplished in the last few years is remarkable and I look forward to building on this, realising Hunter’s global potential and setting the path towards an ambitious and inspiring future.”
