Tanami, the Edinburgh-based video producer, headed off to sunny Malaga with a pug named Gizmo to shoot a campaign for contact lens supplier Vision Direct.
The firm, founded three years ago by managing director Jemma Caldwell, won the deal following a competitive pitch against London agencies.
Caldwell said: “People warned us about working with animals and children but we didn’t let that put us off. Having a pug in the starring role was certainly a new experience but we loved every minute of our Spanish shoot.
“The dogs were incredibly well looked after on-set with owners, expert handlers and personal doggy chauffeurs on standby.”
Ashley Mealor, chief marketing officer at Vision Direct – Europe’s largest online contact lens supplier – said the social media campaign was designed to show how easy it can be to order and receive lenses while on holiday.
Tanami’s other clients include Celtic FC, City & Guilds and the Royal College of Nursing.
