Beattie, the public relations and communications group, has outlined plans to create 30 jobs by the end of this year.
The hiring drive comes as the firm, which was founded in Lanarkshire as a news agency and employs 100 people, marks its 30th anniversary.
Managing director Laurna Woods said the new positions – in a range of public relations and digital marketing disciplines – will be created across the group’s eight UK offices, including Falkirk and Glasgow.
She added: “This is not PR fluff. We have taken on six new starts since 1 January, so we are well on our way to fulfilling our recruitment pledge.”
Beattie has a turnover of £13 million and Woods said she was confident of growing that figure to £16m as its headcount expands. The company, which has secured new business wins from clients including cinema chain Vue, is also investing £20,000 in a training facility in Falkirk.
“Having piled on more than £2m of new business in the past six weeks, we are currently enjoying the most auspicious start to a new year in the history of the group,” Woods said.
“There really is no better way to kick off our 30th birthday celebrations than to announce a 30 per cent growth in our staff numbers.”
