City 'film set' takes on new role

AN EDINBURGH building, 23 Melville Street, which was used in the film New Town Killers, starring Dougray Scott, and the Bollywood hit The Season of Love, has been transformed into a business centre by property developer Brian Cormack.

Following a 500,000 refit, the Georgian block has re-opened as serviced office suites and meeting rooms. The centre will be the first of its kind in the capital. Cormack, 47, who has spent the last year overseeing the project, also transformed George Street's old Aitken & Niven store into four luxury flats.
