Chevrolet sign seven-year sponsorship deal with Manchester United

Manchester United has announced a seven-year shirt sponsorship deal with US car brand Chevrolet.

The General Motors brand will become only the fifth shirt sponsor in the club’s 134-year history when the agreement starts from the 2014-2015 season.

It will replace Aon, whose partnership with United began in the 2010-11 season. No figure has been disclosed for the deal. United’s commercial director, Richard Arnold, described the new sponsorship as a “fantastic, long-term deal for the club”.
